Author Chelsea Schar-Grant

Chelsea Schar-Grant is young author from Adelaide, South Australia. She is currently a year 12 student but despite her young age, her literary talents have been recognised by those around her. In 2016, Chelsea was Runner Up in her category of the ‘Young Writer of the Year Award’. She has since won the ‘Adelaide Plains Poetry Competition’ along with several awards at the Adelaide and Balaklava Eisteddfods, and her poetry is published in the South Australian English Teachers Anthology (SAETA). 
Outside of school, Chelsea is a volunteer in her local community, and for the SA Ambulance Service as an ambulance officer.
 ‘In My Dreams’ is her debut children’s book. ‘Penny Platypus Lends a Hand’ is dedicated to Australian animals and to volunteers.
